Windshield Wipers Stops in the Middle of the Windshield

Hi All,

2004 Alero,

The Windshield Wiper linkage broke. I replaced it today. All went well except now. The windshield wipers stop in the middle of the windshield. For the life of me, I cannot figure out why. It is the old motor and was working fine,

Any ideas?

Sounds like the linkage wasn't in the park position when the wiper arms were re-mounted. Try taking the arms back off, turning the wiper switch on, then back off and re-mount the arms in the park position.
