Has anyone ver heard or used the Weapon-R Dragon filters for their cars? Especially for the 2.2?

Get a K&N or a Spectre. It's easier that way.

or AEM or any other quality manufacturer. I wouldn't trust Spectre's flow capability unless I tested it myself.

the filter situation has already been covered. piping that 2.2 for a warm air intake and getting rid of that stupid black box ontop on throttle body helps the most, it is VERY restrictive. I put on my intake on and noticed a slight gain but putting a 90 degree pipe in place of that box is when there was a quite noticeable leap in performance.

i ripped my air box out and put a 3" K&N filter connected by a 90 degree chrome pipe. i also removed the metal on the bottom where the air box screws in to get more air in there. i get about 29 MPG and do 75-80 on the thruway

A little late into the thread, but I always liked how the Cosmo WAI looked like, and have heard good things about their product in the past. The only thing is I don't really trust cotton air filters. The way I see it, if the filter allows more air to go through, it probably also allows more contaminants to go through as well.

Hey all, I am looking into upgrading my intake(manifold and cold air) I have a 2.2L L61, Would any of the L61 intake manifolds work? Including the 2.4L ? Also Anyone have any good sites to order from?

2.4l isn't an l61. That intake manifold can be used as an upgrade, but I suggest that you do some research on ecotec forum as I believe you need a throttle body adapter and there was some tuning needed. What is needed is from memory when I was considering doing it about 2 years ago, so I would check it to be sure.
