New from Ca
Hello from Ca. Been reading tons of threads for a few months now, finally joined to answer a question I saw yesterday. 01 Alero red fire matalic with just under 200,000. Supper happy with this car. A little has been done everywhere so far, for the most part, replacing parts that where going out or needed work. I'll try to find a picture or two or I'll go take one soon. Thanks to all users that have great knowledge of the Alero you have been much help.

Yeah it's a gls, and thank you both. It's hidden well with touch up paint and the passenger side is worse but it was keyed by someone really upset before I bought it. Plan on trying to blend that better soon.

No, GLS models could come without the spoiler. There was 20 GLS's lined up when I bought my car, some had the spoiler, others didn't

Read that wrong but may or may not be and my registration doesn't say. Maybe a vin look up will?
On another note anyone have problems with key fobs. Factory one didn't work got one on eBay and it now doesn't work also but autozone thing says it works. Really don't want to give the dealer another 30-40 dollars for programming. Thinking viper keyless entry and remote start.

It should be a GLS with leather, V6, auto and the 16" polished wheels (yours use to be)

Welcome! It's defiantly not a SE or GT I can tell that much. Beyond that it looks like you actually drive yours! Maybe you could show sleepy how to do this!
I can't help you with the key fob either! I had a compustar remote start system installed for me a good 5 years ago and haven't used the factory fob since, although it still works. Remote start FTW in the NE winters.

Thank you all again. Rims are the 16 inch polished but with dupi color black shadow/Crome "kit". Comes with paint and a hard clear coat. Need to black out the Crome strip around the Windows. I like nickle plated pipes on 2-strokes but besides that not a crome or shinny metal guy. Though the window trim is clean factory design.

Fastest N-body is a grandma....
SHINNICK OMG TEACH SLEEPY YOUR WAYS!!! You actually drive your car. You get rid of hideous chrome. Man he could learn so much from you
Honestly at this point we mind as well merge all the N-bodies into one forum. Maybe then there would be a decent amount of traffic everyday.
