I put a few ounces of mmo in my oil, as I was a tiny bit low, and I'm going to change the oil this week. Did that on Sunday. Now, the tick I had on a cold start isn't as pronounced.
I asked the opinion of some mechanics at my job about mmo. They all swear by it. I ran some mmo through my pcv valve and it seems to be doing better.

I have sea foamed all of my vehicles and several for friends. I have not experienced any negative results. That being said, I follow instructions and do the pcv and fuel. I wont dump it in the oil though. On dirtier cars we saw mild improvement, on clean ones, nothing. I cant speak for all of them but one of my friends we did 3 years ago and nothing has came up, all of my vehicles I never had for more than a year but again, nothing bad.

Yes. If done right, it produces a nice little smoke screen. After doing so, the throttle response is much sharper.
Was an ASE certified mechanic with 20+ years experience that suggested mmo thru the pcv valve. I asked him about sea foam thru the pcv and he suggested mmo instead.

I used seafoam on an Infiniti I30 once. Doesn't really do nothing, and it's harder to do it through the intake (since you can do it from the intake, brake booster valve, oil, and fuel). Some people say it will mess up your MAF if you pour it in with it there.

Putting it in pre MAF doesn't sound good.
Only thing I use on the maf is maf cleaner.

I know this is an old topic, but Seafoam is best used when sucked up through intake manifold vacuum.
I like both MMO and Seafoam, both have given me positive results on my vehicles (small town, no highways, lots of idling in -40* and colder, etc.). I prefer MMO in the fuel tank (lubrication is nice) and seafoam through the intake vacuum (don't just pour it into an opening, let the engine suck it up)
