Something I was working on today.
I couldn't handle the window crank any more so I decided to switch to power with this conversion kit: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/321181816924?... 4.m1439.l2649
It took around 6 hours from start to finish. Not sure if it's normal but when I open and close the windows, the voltage goes from 14.4 to 13.9-14.0. Is this normal?
I still need proper covers for the existing window crank piece (the provided pieces wouldn't fit properly).
Will post pics once photobucket starts working again.

My voltage only drops to 13.9 when playing my music full tilt, that's why I was wondering.

My question is why didn't you just swap with stock alero window stuff? And get the door panels for auto windowns?

There aren't any local aleros for parts and ebay prices with shipping are crazy.

I saw an Alero on craigslist for parts recently. Too bad you live in Frenchy land though you kind of deserve to get shafted just for that reason lol

I was considering that, but isn't the wiring quite difficult. I read on older posts about the swap but I'm not sure anyone actually has done it.

I would think you could figure it out considering all the work you have done with the audio system and the window stuff you had already done. Just keep an eye out maybe you'll see a deal.

I will keep an eye out for the correct parts, for now it will work and it's already great not having to crank windows up and down. I'm sure that finding 4 doors with power windows and the regulators will probably cost more than $120. It is something I will keep in mind.
