Sorry, might sound redundant but can you use regular tire cleaner to clean plastidipped rims? Will certain products eat the rubber away or possibly thin it? Just in case i put like 5 coats of white to match the body then like 3 or 4 layers of glossifier.. But since they are white you can definitely tell when they get dirty. Btw I have ceramic pads so its more rainy dirty road grime than brake dust.. What should I use?

dont mean to thread jack, but i was curious to know if i can use plastidip first to do my badges then use the rest of the paint i have left over from the calipers & drums i did to match to keep my theme going? will the plastidip be easy to peel off with that caliper paint on top of it.. only reason why i ask is cuz the red plastidip is not the same color as the caliper paint.

Do a test first, paint a square on a random piece of metal sittin around or a piece of wood, let plasti dip dry, then go over with paint, then let dry, then try to peel and see what happens.

When you use a clear coat over plastidip, its very difficult to pull off. Rather than it coming off in large sections at a time, only VERY SMALL pieces come off and it takes an extremely long time to remove. I am assuming that spray paint would have the same effect.

good idea, but metal isnt the same as the paint on the car.. or the chrome badges.. so im a lil skeptical..
