painted headlight bezels?

What kind of paint should i use for them? And how to on removing them? And just thinkin would a blue head light bezels with a silver alero look nice? Or should i just go black?

Should have searched. We just had a thread that recently talked about this.

Me I like lowes Valspar series spray paint. (Primer and gloss) use some sand paper, and bam.

as to the blue bezel thing, I think that it largely depends on if you are going to do a color theme with it, if you are going to have other accent pieces on the outside that are blue you might be able to pull it off even though I am still not sure how well it would look...if not then I would just go black

painting them for the first time is easy as pie, but if you decide to change colors it is harder to get it off then you might think

i tried to do mine a week ago but gave up because someone had already opened it and closed it up with a shit load of silicone

though I can't specifically speak for your set, unless the housing looked like it had been opened, that is just how much silicone gm used...there were other much more important parts that gm could care less if they fell apart but they were on a mission to insure that no one had a leaky headlight

Valspar is a good brand used them on my inside peices but what grit of sand paper?

when I just did mine I used 320 grit...it left a decent scuff all over but once painted you couldn't see the sanding marks
