Hey all...just saw an ad in Speed/Style/Sound for a turbo that I don't think has been discussed on the forums. Ad says: HP Performance and Exotic Performance Plus present Streeturbo, intercooled Turbo Kit for 1999-2004 Pontiac Grand Am 3400. Completely installed for $4,495.00. 220HP at 5psi, 264HP at 9psi (both wheel horsepower ratings)

Phone number is 260-483-9300
www.exoticperformanceplus.com

My only question is can the drivetrain, trans, etc. handle the HP at 9psi?

Get this package down to $2k for a group buy and I'm in!!!

Youngblood77 is an unknown quantity at this point
Not to mention that it would take about 400 people in that group buy you speak of, to get a completely installed intercooled turbo kit dropped from $4,500 to $2,000.

yeah the engine/drivetrain, etc can handle 9 psi but anything past that the piston rods will kill themselves :P

trans, etc. handle the HP at 9psi Probably not for too long. I know with the 4t65e-hd it starts to stretch the chains around here, but there is more torque for out of the L67 at 270~ whp too.

If I were you I wouldn't go above 7 or 8 PSI with stock internals
