he's saying you knew there was a timing issue, ignored it, and severe damage occurred. now you learned not to ignore it.
and the piston is good to hang on the garage wall for display

Tuner shop guy told me that he has a built & ported 2.3 head for sale he said if I put it on my block the compression will go up to 11:1 with stock bottom end. I'm gonna build the block with 9:1 pistons and try to get the thickest head gasket I can find. To try to at least get it to 9:1.
Ps he's done this all motor and got 210 to the wheels. He's doing the stroker 2.3 now

Why would you want that head if your trying to lower compression?

They say the 2.3 head glows better and it will let it rev to
8000 rpm

does it fit with the power steering pump ?? and cam sensor is it the same ???
You do not want to rev a ld9 to 8000 rpm unless you totally rebuilt it, remove the balancer shaft, upgrade to 2,3 oil pump, bore oil gallery, etc...
you're turbo... what's the need to rev it that high... I was supercharged on mine and 6500 was enough with the secret cams !!
