Q: Who sells precut grills to install on the Alero?
A: Go to http://www.americanperformanceofcolorado.com, and look under appearance for the grills. You can also go directly to http://www.customcargrills.com/ as they sell some kits. These kits are all precut to fit Aleros... and include the stuff you need to mount them.

Q: How hard is it to install?
A: Not hard, just use patience anc caution so you don't scratch your paint.

Q: Can't I just make it myself out of gutter guard/chicken wire/other materials?
A: Yes you can, and the process is easy. However, be prepared to cut yourself up a little with the wire while cutting it to fit. To secure it to your car, the easiest way is probably to use zip ties or silicone.

i just installed my mesh grille kit... it looks really nice on my stock front end.... it was a pain in the but to get around the foglights though, its a surprisingly tight fit between the lights and the grille, i'm pretty sure i scratched up my foglight lenses pretty bad while doing this... pics coming soon

I had a hard time doing my custom grill, cutting it my self was easy but I put about a whole tube of sealant on it to hold the 3 pieces on.

i used the gutter guard and did it a little different then most people i've seen. I bent it so that it fit at the front of the bumper instead of at the back, and i cut it nice and tight around my fogs. then i screwed it right into the bumper from behind so you couldn't see the screws, turned out better i think, and its in there sturdy. here's a pic, sorry about the bugs, but they really are functional as well as cosmetic

Anyone who bought the customcargrills kit, did it really fit in just like a glove?

yeah...been there, done that and it looks like crap. I'd rather pay for a sure thing that is more guaranteed to look sharp. Especially when its cheaper than what I paid for the initial mesh sheet.

So has anyone used this sight and can I get a break for sucking with wire cutters.
