Armageddon
Well the long awaited return of a sub worth anything is finally here. friend of mine picked up this Kove Audio Armageddon 18". it runs 4000rms but sadly it will be on my 1000.1 for now. it compares to a treo ssx 18. its more of a sq then spl sub. box will be tuned to 28hz and should be in by next weekend. this will be the build log thread. looking forward to a mini hair trick at 24hz (hopefully)

well my temporary diamond audio 300rms sub ripped itself out of a 12 prefab box this morning. was driving and bass was on a slow decline till there was no bass at all at max volume. i pulled over to discover it was hanging on to the box by one screw falling out. last time im using 5 screws to hold in a sub. i think it was because the used prefab box has been passed around more times then the clap. the screw holes were pretty lose before it went in. will have the box specs for the 18" today and going to home depot tomorrow to pick up the wood and to have them cut it. hopefully this should be done late night tomorrow if not the next day. many pics of the progress to come

LOL
If they are cutting make sure that they allow you to do all the measuring. Its about the only way to come out ahead.
Once upon a time I tried to do this by just giving them the dimension sheet. They charged me $.25 a cut after the second cut then when I went to assemble it I found they were off upto 1/4"... ouch...
