Its about 14 and sum change out here for that shit too. Lacquer thinner alone woulda done the job.

I love it!
I felt ambitious and did the same to mine today, took about 1.5 hours of sanding by hand to get it the way I wanted before publishing (I'm a bit of a perfectionist) but it turned out really well. It's a great mod for about $5 worth of sandpaper and a bit of polish.
Now I just need to spend a weekend and do the entire UIM. It will be awesome.
Here are a couple pics I took. Note that it was taken in a dimly light garage, can't wait to see it in the sunlight.

i used 200, then 440, then 1000, and finished with 2000 grit. Spend a lot of time with the 200, and 400 grit to get it down enough for a good starting point.

2000 is the finest I went to, Everyone was out of finer stuff...once I find some 3000 I'm going to use it and re-polish

I don't think there is a need, I just used a buffing wheel with some polish and its like a mirror!

I don't have a buffing wheel..I used 2000, brown cutting compound then white and its like a mirror..but not quite good enough for me..

this is what is causing me to question polishing the whole thing...there is NO way I'm doing it on the car...
