Thanks man. Not fustrated at all, love the alero and where is at im not complaining, I just hate that I cant work on it as I wish, but hopefully thats gonna end soon when I move. Its defenetly fun, especially when you try different launch, shifting and all that and get lil faster every time. I want to see picture of your cooling settup and more details about it.

Just a side note to the wheels I was using...
I started off the M&H on stock steelies. They worked, then I went and got some wheel spacers and proper drag rims for the rubber a month later when the track officials got leery. The slicks never slipped on the stock steelies, but the officials at the track thought otherwise, I even had the rim and rubber marked with chalk to prove my point. The M&H are tubeless full on slicks. I was able to launch at just about 6000rpm, & away I went.
And as previously said, I didn't go through the whole thread. Make sure the car is tuned through and through before you go back to the track.

My 2 new wheels were meant to be for the drag radials.... the day before the track my buddy let me borrow his slicks 24.5 m/h so I threw them on my 15x7. and put the drag radials on the steelies and tried them both. Slicks helped to take care of the wheel hop.
Spy so what are you up to now, I thought you were changing platform to a j-body, but I havent been able to follow the build.

Broke into 13s without a single mod than my previous run on, so I recovered what I thought the car was capable last time. Videos later on.
First run: Spun hard, wack 60 foot and still better than my 14.44 on a hot day. I was like damn already.
Second:
Third: Wheel hopped
Fourth: The good one , it was right after my third run no cooling time.
I had another run but decided to call it a night, all this is with a tranny that I dont want to push since its hurting grindin 5th, plus the wheel hop that I had in third run I wasnt to sure.

You could just tell in the video that your last run was the smoothest, good launch, good shifts. Tell your buddy with the video he needs to zoom in for launch and pan out after that and then zoom in on the board at the finish.

Yeah last run was good. That was my brother, reason for not zooming and stuff is cause they are iphone videos , no battery on the real camera. Btw I hate our lazy tach lol.

Cars holding great for all the beating, cant complaint one full year being boosted with some what high miles, its about to go thru its second winter plus its my DD. Last night I managed to beat two Cobalts and a Redline with lower trappin speed and I had less mods . My tranny issue was cause by me lettin a female drive the car and go in reverse instead of downshifting to 4th, so it grinds on 5th gear(which I dont need at the drag lol) but when you hard shift to third it tends to miss. So im "trying" to baby it.
My car slow but it did get some attention and got some ppl "wtf" in their head haha, especially when they saw its 5speed. They didnt expect it.
