dude Cobalt SS m62 works just get all the parts with it or, if you can find a GMPP one for the Cavalier that will work too.

anything works on anything.... you just have to fabricate. if you're asking any of these questions, you aren't going to be doing any of it anytime soon

i am slowly learning what all i am going to have to do to turbo my LD9 and not really going to ask too many questions till i understand what all needs to be done to prep and then what i have to do to get it installed. Then to see if i can get it tuned here or if i have to borrow someone's HPtuner

The best bolt-on for the ecotec would be the TVS for the LSJ and all the associated parts.

tvs are nice, but also pricey,
and yes, whipples are far superior to eatons,
my 1.6whipple will slaughter an m90 in flow and is smaller than an m62, for the 3400 if you must stay supercharged instead of turboed, then custom mounts or manifold is going to have to happen and if that's the case there is no reason to stay with a shitty eaton.....

it's cheaper to supercharge, i think, easier to bolt on (m62), an i wouldn't have to upgrade anything. 200hp is way fine.

Ecotec stock is 140 at crank a supercharger will get to about 200 at crank a turbo could bring you closer to about 230 at crank. Price wise both can be cheap you just have to budget right and no where to shop, superchargers are easiest because there is no welding required.

not necessarily.
either way you'll need a tune & to rework the fuel system of the car in one form or another.

depending on the size of the turbo & boost & tune, amongst other things. You can have output as much as any supercharger kit available for the motor, or you can reach for sky high absurd numbers.

Yeah, but I was talking the bare minimal, stuff you would do without forged internals, so stock pulley on a supercharger and around 8-10 pounds of boost with a small turbo set up.
