can someone tell me how to remove the dome light safely so i can replace the bulbs, and what are the blub #'s for all 3 of the bulbs, i belive i heard a 512 or a 216 but im not possitive. any advice will help thanks :thumbsup:

Just pull it down. If the friction clips crap out, which is likely. You can just get a small self tapping screw and screw the dome light assembly back into cross member it mounts on.

no, you dont have to break it, but if it's been pulled more than a few times the little clips will start to break, and it'll be less secure up there unless you screw it in like brent said.

Stick a thin tip slotted screw driver in one side of the cover where the small slotted hole is and then pull the cover off.

move it from side to side and the clips should release it. but they will break over time if removed allot or forcefully.

what are the bulb numbers?

Also, kind of off topic, but what are the bulb numbers on the map reader lights on the rear view mirror?

i took a picture of mine when i redid my roof. I forced it off the first time i took it down and the clips had been weak ever since. if it happens to you i put a picture in this thread about where you can safely put a screw to hold it up. Its about half way down the first page
