please help
ok so the other day my car started idling rough so we took the cover off to check the plugs but the boots were stuck on the plugs. well long story short my uncle got 3 out of four off and checked the boots well the bottoms were white... and it keeps idling really rough well tonight i was driving home and it feels like its losing power when i try to accelerate the rpms jump up high but it dosnt want to pick up speed very fast. then the service engine light came on and blinked on and off about 7 or 8 times then the track off came on and stayed on for a few seconds and went off too
dose anyone know how i can fix it???

i would start with the plugs and wires... especially if your wires were THAT corroded. the spark isn't getting to the plug as well as it should.

it's alright... the blinking of the SES is (almost) always a misfire. at least that's what i was told when i had my sebring with the constantly blinking light. so therefore change the plugs and the wires and you SHOULD be ok. unless you have a bigger problem. i don't know the 2.4 very well so i don't know where to go if that doesn't work, but it sounds like that's where you need to start.

Ok, replace the Plugs and wires, USE AC DELCO!!!!
the Blinking SES means misfire, Always, it cannot blink for any other thing...
make sure the gap on the plugs is .45

no need at all to gap replacement plugs unless you have a high performance modified engine, which might cause spark blowout, or if it is being a bitch to start.
