sheeba's not a virgin anymore!
so sheeba and i shared our first track experience together last night. we got through one practice round at about 7:00, then it started raining, but they waited it out until like 10, then we started racing again! it was so much fun, and i'm very surprised at her best time... and yes, it was just a 1/8 mile, but it was close, and kind of a last minute decision by me and my boyfriend, so it was really fun! alright so here's my best timeslip (which happens to be the very first time down the track)
she ran a 9.92 on her very first run down the track! i was shocked. that was my boyfriend i ran against, and he was shocked his car could do that well. another one of our friends (who races there every weekend) drives a 2000 grand prix GT, and she was amazed i beat her (she ran a 10.15 or so). so i was happy we ended up making 4 runs total... here's what the rest of the runs looked like. the rest were after all the rain. oh and trap speed was always 70.xx
10.06 (R/T .58)
10.08 (R/T .56)
9.97 (R/T .4979... barely redlighted, grrr)
so yeah, yay! now i just have to find a 1/4 mile track

Very nice
9.92 in the 1/8 is about 15.60 in the 1/4!
What's done to the car and how much did the car weigh?
In points right now I'm avg'ing about 9.7 to 9.85 in the 1/8 but the car's been overwieght all season

i'm not sure what the car weighs. all i have is a cold air intake, 2.25 catback, and an mpracing PCM... i took my passenger seat out, as well as the bottom of the back seat. and of course i took everything out of the trunk. but that's it. i even forgot to lower the tire pressure. i even spun tires off the line on that 9.92. didn't really do any tricks besides losing the weight. just went out and ran it as is. but i was expecting a 10.4 or so haha.
wait... is a 15.6 good? hahaha n00b
