Paint
I am having the rust bubbles in my hood taken care of and I spoke with the guy doing the work about painting my emblems silver rather than the tacky gold. He even suggested removal of the emblem and filling the spot and painting over it.
So what should I do?
I am leaning just painting of the emblems silver but I am wondering if the shaved emblems would look better.

I think the fronts look bare without the emblem. I guess its cause I expect them to be there. I have one of Nate's and it looks excellent. That is the route I suggest. Remove the rest.

Im thinking just having him paint em silver. I would remove them and put on new ones but when the car was repainted the people took em off and epoxied em on crooked so removal may cause more problems so I figure if he wants to take em off to paint them he can worry about the paint

I'm a fan of the gold emblems, looks good with black. That's just me though.

Hey Knuckleballer, if you haven't done anything yet, how about a trade? Your gold ones for my silvers, plus I'll throw in about ten bucks to even up the trade a little more. First, though, what kind of shape are your emblems in?

Because really, if you want your gold ones repainted silver, they will most likely be pulled off of the car anyway. So by trading, you will be saving a little $$ on paint, plus making a little in the deal!!
