Engine Work

Kinda wondered....

would upgrading to a slightly bigger TB, do any good w/o also upgrading the UIM/LIM? being able to push more air in, shouldn't mean much if there isn't more room for that air... unless they designed the intakes to hold alot more air then stock provides?

obviously FI pushes more air in, but just stock setups w/ a WAI/CAI?

and i know if one was to do this, headers/exhaust work should also be done... more air in, more air out. But does the internals of the engine allow too much more air w/o going the FI route...

more air can move through quicker, so technically yes it helps. but it doesn't allow more air at a time in the combustion chamber. but for max results the engine should b built and you should have a full intake n exhaust system also.
