Well, I know that several other people on the site have or have had HID lights in their car, so I thought I'd pose this question. I just put mine in a couple days ago and I have found that I can no longer use that little black rubber piece that used to keep the headlights concealed. I'm a little worried about water getting in there now and shorting out my lights. How can I cover that whole deal up in the back there now? I thought about cutting the rubber piece, anybody tried that? Any hints would be appriciated. I also found out the easiest way to disable my DRLs....HIDs. The 04 uses the low beams for DRLs, and when I installed the HIDs, my DRLs went away.

I just sliced a vertical line from the bottom of the cap to the halfway mark and slid the wires through the back. Just make sure to keep the cap taped down since it is more apt to pop off with the added pressure of the cables coming out of it.
