K&N Inbox filter
Ok so i got the filter from canadian tire @ toronto...
I didn't expect for too much, but i expected to feel just a little better...
From a first drive with the filter experience - I do feel like the car is driving more easily and that the accercelation is better but its almost the same as before and i think it might be psychological... I expected to a little more, but i guess its ok... I only hope it doesnt make the car slower .
I didnt feel any "extra kick" like what some people described it to me.
I'm not planning on switchin to a WAI soon but who knows...
I should also get the Remus muffler i was talking about this week so im happy anyways... .

i really dont see the advantage in wai although they may be lots of warm air for the intake to suck in cold 'compresses easier and able to get more of it in then warm air.

What? you thought you would feel a difference with a drop in filter???? hahaha, either you swap out the stock intake or you dont do anything at all. YES i know its "illegal" where you live, but ive done a lot to my car thats illegal and i havent had a problem yet.

if an intake is illegal then just keep your stock set up and when you go to get it inspected throw the stock air box back in...... do cops around your area ask you to pop the hood on your car when they pull you over??? LOL

haha well it was totally custom, the filter is sitting up behind my fog light, there was a lot of dissassembly, and fabricating and re-assembly, but im stoked with the finished product.

Could modify the stock airbox to let you put the cone filter in it. Kind of like have a Wai with the stock airbox wrapped around it. Was going to try with mine I just took the airbox out and dropped a cone filter on it. But had the idea to just use the airbox it isolate the cone filter from the engine heat. A hybid so to speak.

K&N filter don't do anything. It basically you regular air filter which you can re-use over and over again (with regular cleaning and new charge) it can help really little on gas mileage but horsepower wise is useless. CAI is better overall.

i have had drop in filters , CAI, and WAI before and i never really felt hardly any difference in either one.in my opinion, the drop in filters work just as good and usually deliver the same amount of power, just dont look as cool lol

Oh those pesky bandits.
You don't really feel a difference with any of those except when you really floor it. They should give you an extra kick at something like 5,000-6,000 rpms? Somewhere around there.
