Question about O2 sensor
I've run some searches, but couldn't find that much about it. I've had the SES light on for a while now and noticed that my gas mileage has gone to shit. Got it checked, and it's the 1st O2 sensor. I had a friend tell me to get a universal sensor off the internet to put in it for like 20 bucks or so instead of payin the hundred+ from a parts store. I was just wantin to know what anyone else thought the best bet was. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

The first and 4th both said heated. The first one is 63.99 and the second is 66.99.

Prices vary by location, but for the universal one, it's around 70 bux. You have to splice the wires yourself on it, but it's not difficult. The prewired one is a little over 100 most places. You know it's heated when it has 4 wires, but it also has to be calibrated properly. The ones listed on the Autozone search are the ones that will work.

I have the 3400 but O2 sensors should be the same. The Bosch has O.E. O2's and universal. ACDelco also has them.
Don't worry about getting on peoples nerves, asking questions is how you learn.

so, i don't know what the deal is, but several days after i changed my spark plugs, the ses light went off and hasn't come on since. I don't know if it had build up and got burnt off or what, but it's runnin fine now. guess i'll just keep an eye on it.
