Grand Am/Alero Mirror Swap
I've been lookin at some aleros and have seen the grand am mirrors on them.. Is it possible to swap a grand am gts side mirrorr with my aleros mirrors and have em fit properly... cause my mom has got a grand am gt and i jack alot of shizzle of her car... let me know

the grand ams will fit the alero without a problem, and im sure you would think the aleros would fit the grand ams but ive never seen it and thats for a reason, cuase the GA would look like hell with aleros mirrors

ive seen a lot of grand ams with alero mirrors, you will be able to swap them without a problem. you both have power mirrors right?

Yeah, its a perfect fit. The only problem that you will encounter is that up will now be downa nd down will now be up. You can always go in and re-wire it, but most have found that its not worth the hassle.

IIRC 01 or 02 and newer GA's all have the mickey mouse mirrors (Alero)

I think they have the grand am gt ones on ebay for just 25 bucks a piece, just a thought before you jack your moms car... I love the look of this mod

yea it should look sick.. do any other pontiac mirrors fit onto the alero or just the grand ams?

just reverse the plug behind the power lock to fix the reverse problem..
or remount the power mirror part upside down and on reverse sides..
