Ultimate Alero eh? Well, I'm coming late into this...
To be honest, I couldn't think of much to say that I would have added to it (practical additions). However...
Rear wheel drive, 6 speed, V-6 (I doubt a V-8 will fit that well), two racing seats with 4 pt. harness, internal roll cage... going further, to have the front end tubed, lower ground clarance, a more built up front end (stock car look), straight piped exhaust, and a read window wiper...
but yeah, that's just one idea...

someone actually put a Northstar V8 in an N-body before. Yes it was cramped, but it fit.

How bout fitting a uhm.... ferrari 360 modena engine right behind the two front seats, changing under the hood to a trunk and converting it to AWD or RWD. The engine would be seperated with a rollcage, firewall, and plexiglass, to show off the engine... take out half of the back window and replace is with a sort of scoop to cool the engine with the radiator sitting parallel with the scoop. Exhaust would be a dual with a custom made cats to fit in the sides of the back Quarter panels with dual mufflers with dual tips. Gas tank would be up front underneath the new front trunk, with the gas lid underneath the hood to hide it and make sure no one can piss in your gastank.

Well, I'd like to drive it, not have it go to the repair shop all the time.

I would stay somewhat realistic, and say awd(transaxle, driveshat, and rear section from the pontiac aztek) fully built automatic tranny, my dream engine that has a patent pending alum block, steel crank, billet rods, full roller motor, and way too many secrets to reveal with an eaton s/c on it....simple I think

well i rather get realistic so I my ultimate Alero would be this:
-air ride 2 clear speed bumps with ease
-turbocharged 2.4 with intercooler or a v6 turbocharged
-5-speed tranny with a huge glow tach
-brembo brakes to handle and contol the power(drilled and slotted rotors)
-racing bucket seats with the racing harness
-roll cage for safety and 2 give it an authenic race interior
-lambo doors that open at the push of a button
-c. fiber interior
- a touch screen navigation system
-a racing steering wheel
-neon lights all over the car
-a good sounding exhaust
- c. fiber hood
-clear chrome tailights
-maybe nos so i can purge it out through the hood to show it off
-AND OSV symbols on it!!!!!!!!
now thats my ultimate alero and its acually my goal 2 reach regardless what my friends say that i should just get a V8 mustang or Firebird. I love my alero and i will soon be all of this, oh yeah and a jetpack 2 make it fly

Ok this thread is weird but the only thing I want my car to do is fly so I'm not stuck in traffic and to have a giant punching glove built into the bumper so when another car does something dumb I can punch the other car and really show them how I feel. And I want it to be pink and turboed!!!!

-5-speed tranny with a huge glow tach
-brembo brakes to handle and contol the power(drilled and slotted rotors) Not Drilled, but slotted
-racing bucket seats with the racing harness On Order, with 4 pt. Cam Lock with the attachment for a 5th pt.
-roll cage for safety and 2 give it an authenic race interior Thought about it, but the added weight would render some of the engine mods pointless in the end
-lambo doors that open at the push of a button Nope!
-c. fiber interior FG, close enough
- a touch screen navigation system Gr-r-r-reat Kenwood Deck, at 1800 bones, I'd hope so, with the Nav., waiting to be installed
-a racing steering wheel Removable? Check!
-neon lights all over the car As we speak...
-a good sounding exhaust Pawz says's it's good
- c. fiber hood Nope
-clear chrome tailights Not exactly
-maybe nos so i can purge it out through the hood to show it off Maybe
-AND OSV symbols on it!!!!!!!! Nope...
|
Easier than writing out all the stuff going into mine... basically, look at an idea, and say "why not?" instead of "why?"
And instead of the full nos system to just have the blow-off valves purge through the hood, if this is the look you're going for, just set it up to run compressed CO2
