Yeah I like how the turbo kills the high pitched tones. Mine is still a little louder than I'd like and I have a high flow cat, 2 resonators and a muffler. Then again, the 2.4 is a pretty loud engine.

Hmmm... I'm actually debating going catless now... because I looked it up online in South Dakota Vehicular laws and I don't think it's even needed here >_>
if anything I'll keep the cat and not have a resonator

Yeah I wouldn't suggest going catless. Just get a Magnaflow high flow cat for 60 bucks or so and be done with it. It'll flow better than stock and you'll stay legal. Besides, you'll only gain 1-2hp by going catless.
