There were many applications for the 3400 from 1996 to current.

Let's not forget the genI and Gen II like the 3100, 3300, and early 3400.
That will cover most V6 GM's made from 1989 to 2007 That had the 60* Chevy V6

1) The 3300 is a 90°V6 based off the 3800
2) The 3400 has only been made from 1996 to current and is a 3rd generation engine.
3) The 3.4 "Twin Dual Cam" in the old W-Bodies is DOHC and very different.
4) The Camaro 3.4 engine is actually a 1st generation engine with iron heads, and is labeled only as "3.4 SFI" as i remember.
5) The Chevy 60°V6 was introduced in 1980 (there was also an old-school 60°V6 from GMC in the 60s)
