here's the question. there are several 2.3 Q4s in the local JY that I want to get the cams out of and I can get the cam cover off and what not but the frontside housing just gets in the way. Does anyone know a better way of how to get the cam sprocket off the cams? I've got the bleeding hands to prove the way I went about it ain't working. any advice?? thanks.

I have those instructions the real problem like I said is getting the front engine cover off, esp on the '95. If I could pull the engine or take a grinder to it then there would be no problem, but that don't fly in the JY. What I'm trying to figure out is how to get the front cover out of the way to remove the cam sprocket.
