Why would you want to do that, malibu on alero. Anyhow, most of you guys must not know about just in time manufacturing, no they aren't just using up the old alero doors. Come on the alero is around till the end of '04 you think there is that big of a stock pile of doors, just emagine the overhead cost. Get Serious.

Talking

I'm hoping for good things from the G6, it'll be GMs "sporty" interpretation of the apparently very solid epsilon platform, and it's supposed to get a 240HP V6, and/or a 6-speed manual, and/or all wheel drive... not sure if all those options will be available together though... but a high-pressure turbocharged ECOTEC would be my pick for the engine... the new 2.4L with variable cam phasing that makes 170HP & 170ft-lbs naturally apsirated...

the G6 looks like the prototype of the alero Since 1997 I had been waiting for the alero to come out and a little dissapointed when it did not look like the prototype maybe the G6 will look like the alero was supposed to.

sorry to get off topic

I'd take a Pontiac Ram Air front end if it could fit, but I seriously doubt that. I wouldn't want to put a Malibu front end...eh....gross. To think I almost bought one of those.....

the grand ams and aleros always had teh same doors. Now the ribbing is gone off the new SE's which is why you can notice the alero "line"
