scratched up

I found my car got scraped by what appears to be a navy blue car of some sort. Is there anything I can get to buff the color out? It's not in the paint or the metal. It's purely on the surface. (Thankfully it's not super noticeable on a black car!!)
Any help would be grrrrreat!
