I need some help BIG TIME. I recently, like an idiot, drove into a really big puddle and sucked up a large amount of water into my intake. After a new starter and some new spark plugs later the car started, but is making a really loud knocking sound. The mechanic said I bent a valve. I just wanted to know if anyone knew where to get new ones, preferrably performance, so I can take care of this issue. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I actually just looked on ebay and found nothing for the 99 model. Do other years have the same head?

also when you get the gasket kit..............check to see if your motor has an egr on it. which it probably won't. get the felpro gasket kit for a 2000 alero or GA. the 99 kit is made for with egr.

no. the felpro kit for 99 is made for having a egr. but actually around early to mid year they did away with the egr. but for a felpro head gasket kit that is for a non egr you need to get a kit for a 2000.
