it will get worse as it progesses but you can still go on for a long time but when you brake in town and you notice it is when you should be worried

At least with my old (original) brake setup, I would just do a nice firm stop and the shaking would go away for a long time.

Yep, works for me. I think it is friction material that gets on the rotor surface that just needs to be burned off or something. I do several semi-hard stops from around 35-40 MPH and that tends to cure it for a while. Atleast that is the case with the ceramic pads I have. Now the OEM brakes were just junk and they would pulse around town so I think it was a warped rotor issue.

if you go on ebay and look for come croos slotted rotors, theres some you can get from R1 Concepts, actualy you can get all 4 for $140.00, decent price. just got them yesterday and there slick looking! havent had a chance to install them. if you do a search for them, there is a review you can look over plus the link for them

I never had any other problem with my OEM pads/rotors. But then i only had them for like 17,300 miles. The rotors usually don't warp. Most commonly the shaking is caused by deposits of the pad material like you said. As long as you catch it right away, you can wear it right off.
