Each rotor new is $80. Like I said I will get home from college like the 2nd week of May so I can pull them off then. I will think of a fair price and start a thread in Bazzar for them soon.

I don't know what the SSBC kit uses, but i know for a fact that the Baer kit uses rotors/calipers/pads the same or slightly modified from a C4 Corvette. Not exactly sure on the 12" kit, but if I remember right, the 13" kit is the same as the HD brake option rotor (standard on ZR-1 and GS/collectors) which is like 1.1" thick.

The only 13" kit is from SSBC. Baer only offers an 11" & 12" in front.

That's the strangest thing, Why would Baer offer a 13" kit for a Cavalier/Sunfire but not for the Alero?!?
*EDIT*
After looking at the Baer App-guide, they ONLY make a 13" kit (I thought that's what Mfuller has) and they part number is 4301004. The rear is only available in 12" and is part number 4302079.

Cliff Baer DOES make a 12" front kit it is on PFYC. If you buy just the front set it will cost you $899 + shipping. Do you know what the price is on the 13" setup?

Hey ya'll....
The factory rotors on all Aleros are 10.9" diameter. The only options from both Baer and SSBC are for 12" or 13" rotors up front. FYI, my front rotors are 13 inchers.
You can also get a 12" kit for the rear from SSBC (Baer also will do one if you ask nicely), but they aren't at all necessary. In a nutshell, bigger rear brakes make your car heavier and your wallet lighter.

Thanks Matt. What do you think there is a difference in the two brands?

That's strange, it doesn't seem to be listed in the Baer application guide. And RKSport has the same Baer kit that PFYC has, but RK sells it for $800. If you're going to just go for 12" brakes, there's far cheaper ways to do it than that. Might as well go for the 13s. As for the price on the 13" fronts, the J-Body fronts go for $915 so I'd imagine it to be somewhere around there.

I know its weird but what do ya do? The problem I am running into is that the front and rear are a different series. That is why I was considering the pfyc kit. Thanks for the info on price from RK. I did think about the Baer 13" kit in front with just buying decela rotors for the rear but I like the 2-piece design. Lots of options and spending lots of money = lots of deliberating. :Noooo:

Well after talking to Rick (a Baer Rep) I have decided to go with SSBC this summer. Rick said that they have never sold a rear setup for the n-body and they will not make one because of the R&D time. The only one they have ever made was for a sema vehicle and there were still issues. I know I found the rear kit on the net but, now I dont trust it and SSBC is just as good and a little more affordable.

I'm sure they're all good quality. I have some original rear discs to go on to mine as well as some 12" fronts within the next few weeks. I'll have to post some pics when i get it done.
