I got my oil changed today, but the check oil light is still on and the alarm still sounds. Is there a way to reset it or something?

dont start the engine but turn the key to "on". open the driver door and take off the fuse panel cover. press the reset button either once or twice until you see the "change oil" light start to blink. then press and hold the reset button....the light will stop blinking, you'll hear 5 ping sounds then the light will turn off.

^ He is 99.9% correct,
You actually have to hold the reset button and count to five, then push reset button once...(one of the warning lights will now be flashing), keep pressing the reset button to cycle the light till the oil change light starts to flash then HOLD the reset button until you hear a several chimes----> YOUR DONE !!

Or you have to turn the key on and fully press and release the accelerator 3 times within 5 seconds and you'll hear a chime. My 2004 doesn't have the button.

positive...my 2004 doesn't have a button either...neither do the intrigues...this is the way you have to turn them off with the newer ones.

Ok, the poor whiteboy doesnt get it. I tried to find the button on my fuse box, but to no avail. The diagram on the inside of the cover said there was one, but I cant find it. Maybe someone can point it out to me...if I even have one? If not, as far as the gas peddle thing goes, just on right...not like,...on?
