Your car has an air pump right behind the right side headlight, extra fuel rails, and tighter O2 sensors.
If you're at sea level and drive up the Mts, you're SES light will most likely come on, due to the thinner air.
This system keeps a tighter emissions on the car. The air pump psuhes air though the heads, and keeps the heads combusing at a cooler temp to reduce emissions.
You can still mod out the car, but changing the cat will require a O2 sim. If you buy P&P heads, you will need "emission heads" due to the extra ports fro the air pump system.
On a 2000, HP loss is minial if at all. All the mods I have done, and the car always passes inspection with flying colors, in the 2nd most strict state, inspection wise. (2nd to California)
