and i really just went off subject on this thread my bad i quess you can close it now i think the guy who started it found what he wanted!

oh yeah and interior is painted

i doubt u ahve seen the alero i owned. having a poop load of speakers doesnt do much for a car besides make it loud. i got my gascap off ebay made for a 94-04 mustang. takes fabrication to make it fit though.

If you're still looking... for that gascap that is... I used the ones made for an F-150, did a bit of shaving down (a bit is a BIT, not a lot at all), and threw it in there... really, it was as simple as that...

mines started to not spring back as much, but only this winter, might just be slat and dirt build up since the last time i washed it. Changing to the new billet one will take care of that.

the curve of OUR gascap (because of the contour of the panel) called for some shaving down along the forward area. And it was done first with a course file, then a finer file and then I just buffed that... total time of work and installation was roughly an hour. That also included drilling first pilot holes then full size holes to fit the screws along the outer edge...

very similar to that, except there is no notch cut out (where you would lift the cap), instead it is on a magnetized button... I liked the clean look (and why I'm removing it to throw in something completely different in the next little bit, yeah...)
