Removing the back seat is easy, you don't need any tools, just a bit of muscle and knowledge of where to pull. You might want a pair of pliers to help with removing the plastic clips or putting them back on.

Step #1 - You can feel around in the gap under the seat for the 2 spots where the bench attaches, they are about 2' in from each side and around 1.5' apart. Get a good grip by each one and pull straight up. You can do one at a time or both at once, I'd suggest one at a time so you can grab on both sides of the clip. You probably have to pull hard enuf to lift about a 40 lbs weight.

Now that it's unclipped you should be able to lift the bench up, and nothing else holds it in place, it's just snuggly fit under the back rests. Here are pics of what you'll see on the floor and under the seat.

Pic #1 - Floor mount with the removable clip in place (both are black, there's really 2 pieces there).

Here is a pic under the bench, where the clip will need to be attached before reinstalling the seat. Make note of the straight bar and the bar that bends around it as I will reference those later.

Here are 3 more pics.

The first one (pic #3) is the clip by itself. I got it out by pushing it down all the way into the floor mount and then fishing it out.

Pic #4a and #4b is how the clip should be put back on the bench portion.

Pic 5 is the floor mount ready to receive the clip (oh, and the thing beside the mount is just my LED flashlight, I did this at night, that's how easy it is).

Step #2 (refer to above pics) - Take the clips from pic #3, attach the top of the clip to the straight bar of the bench bars. The bar that is bent around the straight one will rest in the bottom grove of the clip. A bit of force is required to get that in place, but it will snap in when lined up properly.

Step #3 - Line up the bench pieces with the clips now installed as seen in pics #4a and #4b with the floor mounts shown in pic #5. Make sure the back of the bench is under the back rests and the seat belts are in between the seat gaps. Now press down on the bench and the 2 clips should lock into place.

That's it, you're done!
