Blue smoke is usually oil burning, black is running rich, white is coolant.

Bluish smoke means sever engine wear

White is coolant

Had my P&P installed almost 3 years ago and never had blue smoke

Blue smoke is from oil burning. If it is running rich, it should just be blackish smoke. You should also be able to smell if it is running rich (it will have a kinda sweet smell). Oil burning smells nasty, but its hard to explain.
