Need Help With A Couple Things

Okay, my window in my ho is busted. Well the motor or something b.c it doesnt go up or down. I fell down there and I just took apart the door to take a look at it. Well carmax doesnt open until monday to fix the car so I was wondering how hard it is to swap the window motors?

on another note......

While my door panel is off, I want to dye it black. So what is the best dye or whatever I can use to make the leather black..?

well I still dont know what to do about the f***in Window, neither did my f***in dad. There are peices of the f***ing clips to hold the window down in the door, so I need a new f***ing window clip or whatever holds the f***in window up. Sry I cant really explain it much better then that b.c I am f***in pissed. f***

don't get too pissed off. swapping anything inside the door is easy. it probably is the white clips that hold the window to the tracks. happened to me twice on my old 99. first time i had to buy an entire new regulator. second time it happened was not long after. so i emailed GM and actually recieved a call back from the parts and distribution manager. he said that he was going to try to get just the clip on the market so people wouldn't have to buy the whole regulator. there's been a lot of people with this problem. so, a week or so later, i was notified that i could purchase these clips at any GM dealer. they run about $13 or $14 a piece. they are easy to install also, as long as you're careful.

relax it's the weekend that's why theres no one to answer your questions, most ppl here get on the site during work hours. but yeah i think slick answered your window question, as for your dye question, i would use "sem" it has a good reputation and it was recommended to me by other ppl. where in IL are you? b/c it can be kinda hard to find to buy it. i couldnt even find the sem website on google for some reason until richie helped out, but yea sem's

yeah, I was just havin a bad day. I live in Joliet, and yeah it cant be too hard after I took a second look.
