Ok, I'm aboun tto take the weatherstripping off the door openings and I noticed that the trim at the bottom of the opining is sitting on top of the weatherstripping... it's been this way for all I know since i got my amp installed. I pulled the trim a few days ago to recolor it and I saw where the installers ran the wiring, so i know they took the trim off. My Questin is: isn't the trim supposed to go underneath the weatherstripping? It looks weird over the top of the strip... just want to make sure I get it back to where it's supposed to be.

It doesnt make sense that the weather stripping would go UNDER the interior trim though... does it?

Ok, it's official. The trim along the floor from the front to the center post goes OVER the weatherstripping, as does the trim along the floor from the back seat to the center post. But the center post trim goes UNDER the weather stripping.

This is for a sedan, I don't know about a coup. It doesn't make a poopload of sense to me at the moment, but oh, well.

Secondly, this whole painting the weatherstripping was a bad idea. I cleaned & dried it just like every other piece I've used the flexible paint on and it just flakes off the weatherstrip. DAMMIT.

Anyone know where I can get a light gray weatherstrip kit that will fir the Alero?
