Well, replacing the steering wheel, there are no buttons on the wheel for cruise control... as I wanted... but the cruise controls were going to be mounted between pass/driver seats... only question for those that have replaced their wheels... what type of wiring is involved with these buttons? Is it a simple matter of extending wires, and then soldering them to "momentary" toggle switches? (pic of the switches I want to use). [attachmentid=8014]

Thanks.

Well I replaced my wheel and have been trying to do this same thing for a while and still haven't been able to get it right yet. I am moving the switches to between the window controls and the mirror controls with a couple very small push button switches. Right of the bat i can tell you you need to either use the switches off of the steering wheel and tape them so they are allways pushed in and then wire the switches in right after the main switches. basicly so the signal goings into the origanal switches trough that then to your switchs then when you flip those switches it then goes back to the computer. this is because their are a butt load of ressistors an dwhat not in those origanal switches and you can't just completly cut those out unless you can figure out what all the resistances and what not are.

I am going to tape all three switches closed then slice into the wires after these controls and use the push bottons on the door to momentaraly close the circut to set the cruise.

Hope this all made sense if not i can try and explain it a little better.
