The best I ran was a 15.7. But CAI and headers are coming soon and the 2.7L responds well to N/A bolt-ons so it should be in the 14's with those mods and full 2.5" exhaust. I really can't wait. I have a 03 Tiburon GT w/ the 6spd tranny.

Hmmm.... Almost a full second off just with CAI, headers and exhaust? I'm a bit skeptical, but put up a time slip and prove me wrong!

The V6 Tibbys are nice cars, pretty quick of you give them the right bolt ons, otherwise they are dogs for the kind of HP they make...my car pulled a 15.7 with no mods except running with no air filter. and it makes 150 hp(suppose to anyways). aren't the V6 tibbys 170?

About shaving a second off with those mods...it would be possible. Here's my scenario: as posted in this section, I ran a 9.76 in the 1/8. I have a CAI, exhaust, removed cat and resonator, and a Jet module (yes I know, there is some debate on whether this actually works). A friend went to the track with me, he had a stock 2 door GLS and ran a best of 10.4. So, I cut almost a second off of the stock time, and I have no headers.

^ I hate to burst u're bubble but to me it seems that an 1/8 mile just doesn't count..I could pull a 9 second run in the 1/8th and still get a 17 flat on the 1/4...it all depends on your launch, traction, tire size, gear ratio, wind, elevation, temperature and ability to drive.. just my $$

1/4 miles are worth talking about due to ur top end is tested also. 1/8s are a waste and don't give exact results. Get to a 1/4 mile and try it out

not true (ever launched @ high RPMs or pre-spooled?), see silver's post.
