Stompin' Tom At Live 8 In Barrie

CHEZ 106 in Ottawa has an afternoon radio DJ Jeff Brown with a petition to put Stompin Tom Connors on the Live 8 show. If you want to sign the petition, the link is in the middle of the homepage. Stompin Tom is alright in small forced doses. The only way I listen to country music. But he definetely is a Canadian Icon. I signed to support the DJ he is pretty good I remeber when he was in Toronto on Q107. In protest to Stompin Tom not being on the bill he played 3 hours of Stompin Tom, his whole radio show from 3 till 6pm. It's a classic rock station, the management pulled him off the radio, for the next day and I am not sure if he's back on yet. I wasn't in Ottawa yesterday. Live 8 in Barrie tickets were gone in minutes did anyone get any?

I tryed to score tickets, but I struck out, 35 000 tickets gone in 20 minutes, insane. Woulda been a good show. I was looking forward to seeing motley crue and tragically hip.

Wow, gone in 9 minutes. I never tried either I was in Ottawa that day.
