^^^Exactly. Not illegal in Alberta too. Every time I see an ontario car here they always have their License Plate on in the front. I would just go and look at high end cars and see if they have one, cause that usually when people dont want to have a front license plate on.

Ontario cops don't screw around with that, especially if you are near Toronto and the 407. They won't even bother giving you a warning! I work for Ottawa Paramedic Services and we share the garage with the OPP. There aren't any cops in the shop right now, but I will ask what the fine is on Monday if you like.

wow, maybe i'll slap it back on, i thought it would be like 15 bucks or something stupid. I've only ever got a ticket twice. one I had just got my G licence, I was on the way home and I was doing 126kms in a 80. Buddy pulled me over and saw the driver exam sheets on my passenger seat.
he says" I see you just got your licence? Glad your already obaying the rules of the road".
He dropped the ticket down to like 98 in a 80 or something, the fine was like 150 bucks.
The second time I was on my way home from work and I got pulled over doing 95 in a 80, which I thought was bullpoop, but I got a 54 dolar fine, I was pissed. Who pulls you over for doing under 100 in an 80. grrrr.

A lot of cops do if you are 16 to 20 km/h over the speed limit it is supposed to be $100 and three points on your license.

Well you have been lucky that they don't care. I once had 10 points on my license the max you can have is 15. At 10 I had to go in to the MTO for an interview as to why my license shouldn't be suspended. At 15 points you get an automatic 30 day suspension, at the end of those 30 days you have to take a written test, driving test and an eye test. if you fail either of the written or driving you go back to G1 level. I was lucky and didn't get my license suspended at 10 points and now I am down to six because they come off your license after two years. I would be careful.

Ontario's MTO is bad. My fellows truck driver's and I call them the 3rd rech as in the SS. O.P.P aren't to bad I was pooping bricks the other day passed 1 doing 120 in an 80, I was shaking scrared so bad it goes on my C.V.O.R even though I was in my car. No front plate cost $105 can't remeber how long ago though. On the 401 for speed thay willlet you do 120 as long as your are being decent (no weaving in and out or tailgating).

around here 10 over is allowed by some cops...depends on who u get if u get pulled over. everytime im around the rcmp's i always go th speed limit...no offence in anyone is one or knows one, but they are morons. they are so tight and so strict. sure some ppl say that about city cops, but, i, being the daughter of a former sargeant(muahahah), never had any problems with the city cops. u get some really good tips on when spot checks are and what he under over cars are and license plates...its great
adn there are alot of cars in my city...and all over NB, that dont have front license plates...like i said, it all depends on the cop that pulls u over if they care or not.

Last week I got away with a warning for doing 72 in a 50. Surprisingly, it's the first time i've ever been pulled over. I did get a photo ticket last year doing 74 in a 60, but that doesn't affect your license, so my driving record is technically still perfect.
