cause most shops dont know poop. you need a heavy duty relay basically. i know lighnting audio used to make one. other than that i really dont know where. it's just to stop it from draining your starter batter in the event the second battery goes bad.

yeah but if i buy a new optima yellow top as my new battery what are the chances of it going bad? i figure slim to none

yea its going to last you longer than regular batteries would........just give it a shot.......it cant hurt and you will have made a good investment anyway.....

stinger makes an isolator .. I got in my car. its the 200amp one .. shipped was like 48 bucks. off ebay. all it is a heavy duty relay like soundxtreme said. Its the black thing next to my capacitor.
