i am going to change my fuel filter soon , and i was wondeing what was the best way of removing the pressure from the line. Is there a fuse that i can take out for the fuel pump?

here's a quick way, just open your gas cap. When you take off the filter watch out for the gas that will spill out. gl

Which engine? If it's the 3.4 theres a small cap on the end of the fuel rail near the alternator. Take it off and push on the small tab looking thingy in the middle of it and it will release the pressure.

no it dont matter the engine when replacing the fuel filter......just twist off your gas cap like crolero said.........you only hafta release the pressure at the engine when undoing your injectors or anything coming off with your fuel rail like your fuel pressure regulator......
