Fiberglass hood/fenders
I doubt anyone sells these but I am looking for a STOCK looking fiberglass hood and fender replacements. I am not looking to change the look of the car. I simply want to make it lighter.
Thanks Guys

Racing maybe, but mileage, eh. The stock hood and fenders on the Alero are so tinny that the little bit of weight you shed by losing them wouldn't be worth the cost, it would take too long to pay itself back.

Better traction yes, but in reality unless your Alero is Heavily modified they really don't have enough power to spin the tires much anyway.

my alero isn't heavily modified, and it can spin the tires no problem... so i'm not sure what your talking about. i even have a 2.2, the supposedly smallest engine of the 3

That might have to do with less weight, or maybe the type of tire. I usually buy cheapo tires, so I forget that my Alero has really high end tires (got em free with the car). That's probably why mine just takes off with barely a squawk.

I have the 3.4, and it has to be heavier, plus the 4t45e is probably heavier than the F23

Sedans are heavier than coupes; 3400 > 2.4 > ecotec; and auto > stick.
so a manual ecotec coupe is the lightest stock alero, and 3400 sedan (all auto) is the heaviest stock alero

Which means that he has the lightest possible alero, and I have the heaviest.
