ABS malfunction ?

Hey, just a quick question.
Happened a couple times in the past month. I drive the car, and park. After I start it again (usually a 5 minute break - to fill up gas). ABS light comes on and stays. No SVS or Trac off, so it's not the bearing (replaced in the past). Check engine light is on - vacuum leak. After shutting off and starting again the ABS light doesn't come on again. It just happens randomly. I checked the sensors, they are plugged in properly. I have a driver's ball joint waiting to be replaced, but I don't see how it can cause that. It's not really bothering me much, as I just restart the car to reset ABS, but I want to know what causes it and why.

I've had this issue in the past..about 3 years ago actually.
I did nothing to fix it and it went away..

Can't guarantee the same...N-body cars are just weird like that

yeah i had the same issue, happened when i hit a bump, or when i pressured washed the car. took it in to a dealer they said it just a loose speed sensor. me being lazy, i didnt do anything and it has now gone away. plus snows gone so im not too concerned about abs and trac control.
