you get the best benefit out of air flow with ported heads, ported uim/lim, cold air intake, headers, exhaust, and bigger Throttle body.

that puppy will run a lot smoother, air flow in the motor will be less restricted. and you will get a nice amount of power out of it with all that.

Intake is a little dirty. But motor looks good. 157k right now. Got it for 750$ I will post pics of the car later. I dont have money really. I got a buddy in a machine shop so I get the heads magnafluxed and bathed along with the intakes real cheap. Me and my bro are gonna do a home port.

Well I got front heatshield off. But I lost my 10m. It fell from there but I cant see it. Its not on the ground either. Also what size bolts are for the radiator plastic cover thing? It keeps cutting me and Im half tempted to break it. And also got crossover pipe off.

Got a little cash, doing all of it this weekend.
Porting-
Upper intake
Lower intake
Heads
Exhaust manifolds
Maybe a custom cai
Getting a 65mm throttle body from scrap yard and throttle body adapter
cutting cat off and replacing with 2.5m pipe and getting flowmaster super 44
Out of all of this what do you think I can expect to gain? I mostly want some more mpg as Im getting 150 per full tank, not even flooring it.

Hers some pics of her, old but I will get some new ones soon.
I got it from my best friend and well his brother wrecked it so they got the black hood from a junkyard and then painted the rims black. I kinda like how it looks. For Ohio weather and 157k no rust It was a steal for 750$
Dunno what happened with all that white space.

I've also noticed my car is really sluggish. And horrible mileage. I calculated it 2 times filed it up to top till gas light came on. Got 150 miles once and 144 other time. I hope this will waken it up. My bro's 4.3 silverado seemed faster and those are..gutless. My friend in his focus 2.8 kicks my ass left and right. I changed air filter and stuff but if all of this doesnt change it Im gonna be sad.

Clogged fuel filter or injectors would be my guess for the mpg loss. I noticed a slight increase in mileage after I changed mine, and it had less hesitation, too.
You could also run a fuel system cleaner like Sea Foam through it, or Lucas, whatever your preference. But I would suggest changing the fuel filter. It'll do wonders.

Anyone know how to get the rear headbolts out? They snapped my 15mm. Im about to cut exhaust off before cat off and tear it out through top.. Any ideas at all? If I do that I gotta drive it like 15miles to my friends house for his welder which will be funny but annoying.

I try to use impact sockets whenever possible, as they tend to be much harder to break by hand. Not impossible, but much more difficult.

Try it again with a 15mm impact socket.

I second that. I tend to use impact sockets whenever I can whether it's lug nuts or head bolts. Anything 1/2" drive gets an impact socket if it fits.

Rockauto.com.
There, you can get reman, magnafluxed, dyed heads pretty cheap.
Edit:
Just looked, and for mine (99 GLS, 3400) the cheapest reman head is $215.79, with a $50 core charge, so $165.79 each.
