Have fun with that. As far as I know no one is making them any more. A few of us got together and did a group buy so, the only way I know of that you can get one is finding someone is willing to sell theirs. Gool luck.

Now dont shoot me for saying this. But a cowl can be THAT hard to make on your own, especally if your going to pay what it sounds like you will for a pre-made one.

Not shooting you down but, there are some things that need to be considered doing it yourself. Steel and fiberglass (in most cases) dont mold together perfectly for ever. With the stock hood being steel it is not an ideal case. Can it be done, yes. The quality (over time) is the question at that point. So unless you can make a mold I would not do it. Again I a person who wants my car to be perfect and you have to consider that.

no it isn't. you buy a cheap glass cowl and put it on your stock hood and have a wanta be fiberglass cowl hood.
but these hood are a glass hood and all one piece.

Well i didnt own my alero when these were made so i couldnt join the group buy...along with many many more members on site.
Wonder if someone would make a 2nd round.
Or maybe even a different style hood.
