3400 Performance
I just checked out the www.milzymotorsports.com and seen all what they had. I think running 13.9 in the 1/4 in a N/A GA GT is great, but you would think with all the engine performance and money into the ride, you would be making more power and running faster times. I actually plan on getting a project car next year and have decided on an 03-05 Chevy Cavalier with 2dr and 5spd, with an Ecotec engine. With only 140hp stock and 150lbs tq, many have ran low to mid 15's stock. The Ecotec mods are endless and the engine can handle anything you throw at it. But seeing the times some of you have gotten out of the 3400, I'm considering getting a GA GT instead, just because the tranny is better than that of the 3400 Alero. What you guys think and should I stick to my plan, or go with a 3400? Thanks

Honda is out of the question. I have so many friends and know so many people with Hondas and imports, and about 90% of them dont know the potential of the Ecotec, and I truly wanna prove them wrong. But half of them also hate on Grand Am GT's and they hated on my Alero when I had it, so I'm trying to do something. Besides, they all know my Stang will whoop them, so I'm trying to get something else to tinker with.

Getting another car, but don't want a Honda or any other import.
Buy a 78-87 "G" Body Cutlass. Buy a 72 Olds 350 motor $800 bucks refurbished. Then get a elebrock RPM manifold $300, Mondello Twister big block heads $1599. Some 1.5 lifters $200, and a JMD 22-25-10 cam $149. and you'll be running 12's or 13's easy

I actually wouldnt mind getting an import, just not a Honda, unless its an S2000. I want either a 4 cylinder or possibly a v6. Not many people around my area think you can make a Grand Am GT or Ecotec powered car fast, but I know you can and wanna prove it. I've thought about many different cars and there are many to choose from. I want something unique, but also kinda known, nothing like a Hyundai or Kia, although my friend just bought a 2002 Kia Spectra, and them things have endless mods, well kinda, exhaust, intake, header, cams, t/b, and a couple other things, even a turbo and S/C. If any of you have any more ideas, throw em at me, I'm gonna be looking til about May or so.

Get a Dodge Neon with the DOHC my brother had one that he did alot of work to and it was pretty fast good bottom end don't get the SOHC Motor that the "Plymouth Neon" offers unless you turbo it but the little 2 door neons are fun.

you could by our 02 cav ls sport 5spd, or find yourself a Merkur...they are very cheap..usually @800 to 2000, turn up the boost and have fun....BTW a merkur looks like a euro ford escort, but has 2.3 ford turbo power and RWD. My old 86 XR4Ti merkur was runnin 18lbs boost, 3" turbo back with a canister on the end, and intercooler, i was @ 200 hp, and 300 trq
